There are times, when on your journey, you will experience seasons. Some seasons will be warm, enjoyable, and serene. Other seasons will be difficult, turbulent, painful even; especially when roots are being pulled from your core. Everything familiar will change. These kind of storms often require more than prayer. Sometimes they require silence. They will rock the very essence of you. But, know that as such in this journey, they are apart of life. Even when the root is uplifted, that root is still apart of you.
And the storm shall pass.....AND you will be stronger than you were before. There will come a season of peace. A season in which you will choose to BE....Choose to be Happy. Choose to be YOU. Surrender to BE peace.
Love yourself.

IM(possible)
I really don't know how to start this blog off. I have been contemplating writing it for over a week now. I have struggled with knowing how to put what I felt in that moment into the right words. So I guess I will start off with the story.
Last week, I was standing in line at Bank of America waiting to be called, when I noticed a man. He had no hands or shall I say he had limbs for hands. Anyway, this man had just seen the teller. He was making a transaction when the teller gave him his money. He moved to the side and began counting, organizing, distributing and folding his money (all with no hands). He did this multi-tasking effortlessly. He looked to be about in his mid 60s. Apparently, he had been doing this for awhile over the years. He never noticed me watching him. I was amazed to see this man doing these tasks. He distributed the money (I guess) according to what it was going to be used for. He organized it in separate piles. He put them in different envelopes and left the bank. I stood there still amazed; thinking how many of us (people) with hands, find it so difficult to do minute tasks (when this man does them with no hands). I began thinking of how capable people make excuses for not progressing. We make excuses as to why we can't dream. Why we can't follow goals. Why we can't do this.....Why we can't do that. I began thinking of other people like this man, without hands, without feet, without arms, without a voice, without sight.....How they excel and refuse to make excuses for their condition. I thought about how they do not use their conditions as a crutch for failure.
As I walked to my car contemplating the "normal" human, those of us with hands, arms, legs, voice and sight, how handi-capped we are by complacency and laziness and F.E.A.R (False Expectations Appearing Real). Then the thought of Ray Charles and his movie entered my thoughts. I remember the scene where he was cooking. He was frying chicken, and I thought to myself; "How does he know when it is done?" He cooked effortlessly. He lived vibrantly, even during his struggles...He never used his "physical" condition as a crutch.
I thought about the fear, these individuals must face. The fear they refuse let get the best of them. The fear of not being seen as "equal" to their peers. How fierce they are in defying the odds of other people's expectations. I left the bank that day, feeling like "they" those with debilitating conditions could teach us "regular", "normal" people a thing or two about living and dreaming. They could most definitely teach us a thing about how to stop making excuses for failing.

All Is Within YOU~
There are times when we feel disconnected. We focus too much on the physical plane. We forget; have temporary lapses of what we truly are. We feel confused.
We seek answers from the outside world, from others who like us are in search.
All too often, we forget to stop, and let go. We must be reminded that we have everything we need inside us.. . . .Take the time out to meditate (pray)...disconnect from this physical rat race of illusional living. We must seek spirit. We are light beings.....We have the answers we seek. Peace is abound in us.
There are times, when we must be reminded to REMEMBER~ This life is merely an experience, a journey into being....a pathway to our original existence.....lessons to help us to return to what we really are......stars of the universe........
"We are spiritual beings having a human experience, not the other way around." author unknown
If there are questions, that we need answers to; we must look within....silence the outer voice, search and listen to, and become in tune with the inner (spiritual) voice. We have the power to change anything in this life we are unfulfilled with or unhappy with.

Purpose~ Realize It and Get Some~
I remember once, I had my children (at very young ages) write essays on their purpose in life. I have 6 children. My oldest child, Mahagoney, wrote in her essay that she really didn't know her purpose and she supposed it is to live and die one day. She was around 11 or 12 years old at the time.
I used to have a chalkboard that I bought from Ikea. I would sometimes have lessons for the kids using the chalk board. This was one of them. I proceeded to draw a cervix with a vaginal canal and lots of little sperm all over the board. I explained to my children (ranging in ages from 4 to 12) that each one of them was a miracle with a purpose....Because.... You see.....They (including you and I) are 1 in over 300-500 million sperm that made it to the egg. Which means: We all have purpose. Our lives are a miracle.....
Don't believe? Check the stats: You are one in over 300-500 million sperm. You are the one that made it. The one that survived. The one that fought for your life even before you knew what fighting was.....You have purpose.....Now follow it.......and see where you were meant to go.

Things I've learned Along The Way (Concerning Humans & Trees)~
Somethings I've learned along the way:
1. Sometimes family can be worse than your best enemy.
2. People will be quick to forget the good deeds you've done and constant in remembering your mishaps and the negative.
3. There is love for all of us.
4. Forgiveness is like wealth...everybody wants it, but few know how to achieve it.
5. Ever look at the power of trees....they stand regardless of the season....maybe because they know their purpose and only the greatest of storms uproot them; But even on their backs, they remain what they are.....TREES.
6. A broken branch, does not deter the tree from its purpose.
7. There is the moment, which is one day guaranteed to be a memory...cherish them.
8. Beware of anyone, who does NOT see themselves as a part of nature (netcher).
9. Even trees that bear fruit know, it must someday release it (the fruit) from it's branches.
10. Even trees have bad roots that must be cut away.
11. No tree stands alone.....it has branches (ever seen a tree without them).
12. Ever wonder if a tree gets tired of standing?
13. For the most part....trees weather storms.
14. Even trees have seasons. (side note: You can only see them giving thanks when they are bare of leaves, their branches, like hands, palms up, giving thanks during the coldest of seasons)
15. A friend told me there is a poem somewhere in my innerstanding of trees......she is right........one day~
16. Trees started off as SEEDS and GREW INTO THEIR PURPOSE.
Working Towards Something~
We must all give birth to something.....Let it be YOUR Dreams.~
You are the master of your destiny.....Whatever you get, you've birth (brought into fruition) in one way or another......unless you give into someone else's power.....Remember your purpose and Keep Pushing Forward.
You are worth your weight in gold and more~
